Leaving it all Behind

All Leah could think of was going home. That’s when she saw him.

The leader of the Night Riders biking club. She’d heard of him, but never seen him in person.

“Hi there,” the words rolled off Jacob’s lips in a sensual rhythm she knew was meant for the sole purpose of disrobement.

His eyes never left her for the 47 minutes the group dined at Charlie’s.

Her shift was ending and, by the time she re-entered the dining room, he was gone.

She bolted out the door, searching for him. “Wait!” His head snapped to attention with a knowing smile as she hopped on the back of his Harley.

The Secretarial Talents of Miss Swan

“No, Miss Swan. That won’t do,” Jacob said, sweeping his hand dismissively.

“What do you suppose we do about that?” His already deep brown eyes darkening.

“I…I suppose I…I,” she stammered, walking to the corner of the study, pulling a leather-bound book to reveal what she was sure Mr. Black would suggest.

“Ah,” Jacob continued, “you do have a brain in that pretty little head of yours.” Bella quickly locked her small wrists together above head, with her back to him.

As the smarting slaps began against her bare bottom, tingeing them pink, Jacob began, “I’ve been a bad, bad girl…Miss Swan, sing with me…cause, I’m feeling like a criminal.”

Blackest Day

She’d always wondered why black was the socially-accepted color of choice to wear to these things. Though, the moment she zipped her chic, but appropriate sheath, she knew. Black was the only color that suited her mood.

Later, as Claire sat aside his mother and sister in back of the large limo crawling its way to the church, her heart ached for him.

She took hold of Jacob’s hand and he lead her to what she’d been dreading for the past week, finally peering into Quil’s restful face. Through tears, she beseeched God to let her kiss, hug, touch his lively body just once more.
